Running and partying in Tbilisi (November 2023)

We went to Tbilisi and met again with Adela and Alvaro. A Russian friend, who we’ve first met while Climbing in Katskhi, had told us about a hill run and Tbilisi and we decided to do it. We signed up for the shortest run (about nine kilometers) and had a lot of fun.

The other day we went to party in Tbilisi and that was super cool as well. My favourite place to hang out and have some drinks was Fabrika.

Sightseeing marathon around Kutaisi with Racki’s mother and her husband (September 2023)

Racki’s mother and her husband visited us and rented a small apartment in Kutaisi.

This was the start of the craziest sightseeing marathon I ever did. We visited multiple sites a day! And they were for twelve days in Georgia!

So we mostly visited all the attractions in and around Kutaisi.

One day I took a break and repaired my laptop because it was super expensive to have it fixed in Georgia.

The elderly couple was not getting tired of visiting all these places. When we tried to visit a cave, the husband fell down and just when we had stopped him from rolling down a slope, Cindy’s mother fell down as well. They got some abrasions and big bruises, but their spirit of discovery was unbroken!

Although I would never do a marathon like this on my own, we had a lot of fun and we saw a lot of interesting and beautiful places.

Mega sightseeing marathon in Tbilisi (September 2023)

In Tbilisi, Anja, a friend of Cindy came visiting us. It was super nice to get to know a friend of Cindy from Germany, from her “previous life” and we had a lot of fun.

We had a lot of fun and were living together for three days in a small apartment in the city.

We did a whole lot of sightseeing! It was a marathon and Anja and Cindy did not seem to get tired. I guess, we did see mostly all the main sightseeing sites in these three days.

My favorite sites were: the “rocket” (radio tower which is illuminated in changing colors by night), the Chronicles of Georgia (which are just crazy) and the “mother ship” (Trinity Cathedral).

And of course the awesome Georgian food we had and the escape rooms we did!
