After my days full of chasing summits and action in Austria, I got the feeling that some relaxing, a little more warmth, more freedom when choosing parking spots and more openness of the landscape would be nice.

Well, I found this camping spot in Italy in the area where the Alps become less and less and the beauty of this place…

I sat in the sun, read, tried to talk to some Italians, flew the drone, cooked over the fire and was admiring the fantastic view and the ever changing light.

I made it into the first foreign country of my journey. Crossing the border felt great and when I saw the beginning of the Alps, I felt astonished and thankful. It felt like now my journey really starts and I was and I still am excited as shit. 🎉

A few kilometers in advance of Hochkrumbach in Austria a nice lady told me that something very beautiful lies ahead of me. I think she was not understating. I can’t remember if I ever have seen the Alps so beautiful. 🌟

I tried to live record some music with my iPad to the video. A little bit clunky, but I had much fun recording.
